Discretionary manager appoints regional director

Thesis Asset Management has appointed John Devine as director of its Guildford office.

He joined the firm in 2004 and is currently an investment manager, having previously worked in investment research and equity analysis.

Mr Devine will take over the directorship on 1 August from Kate Nathoo, who has been office director since 2002.

She will continue working as an investment manager at Thesis in Guildford and commented that the move gives her more freedom to focus on helping clients.

The new director will be responsible for leading and developing the team and increasing investment assets.

Mr Devine added: “I am looking forward to developing the Guildford office still further and building on our existing relationships with clients, financial advisers, lawyers and accountants.”

There are currently 22 Thesis group staff based in the Guildford office, including two recently recruited investment assistants.
