Kames boosts property team

Kames Capital has appointed Jim Hartley to its property team, with a focus on identifying attractively valued assets with the potential to add value through active management.

Mr Hartley has joined Kames as a senior asset manager and will be working on its active value range of funds and reporting to property fund manager Philip Bach.

He will support Mr Bach in the management of the UK Active Value Property closed-ended fund and Helen Batten in the management of the open ended version of the same fund.

Mr Hartley previously worked as an asset manager for Tilfen Land, where he focused on investing in London and the South East. Previously he was an asset manager for ING Real Estate Investment Management.
