Zurich adds Quilter Cheviot to its retail platform

Zurich has added Quilter Cheviot to its retail platform as it continues to expand its range of selected discretionary fund managers.

The addition will take the total number of discretionary fund managers available on Zurich’s platform to eight, following the addition of its first three - Brewin Dolphin, Charles Stanley and Vestra Wealth - earlier this year, with Square Mile, London and Capital, Avellemy and Halstead following more recently.

Alistair Wilson, head of retail platform strategy at Zurich, said that Quilter Cheviot’s distribution strategy is aligned, with both businesses demonstrating a shared commitment to the UK market.

“DFMs have numerous benefits for advisers and we are pleased to be expanding the choice available to them.

“As well as DFMs, advisers using our platform can pick from other investment solutions, including investment trusts, exchange-traded funds, stocks and shares.”

Glenn Hawksbee, head of sales at Quilter Cheviot, said that offering their manager portfolio strategies through Zurich’s platform will make it simple for advisers to provide investment solutions that are both robust and flexible for their clients.

“This is a really attractive proposition, and we are confident it will be well-received by financial advisers.”
