This is how much UK-based non-domiciled residents paid in income tax in 2013/14. According to figures from Pinsent Masons, this is a 7 per cent rise from the £6.18bn paid in 2012/13.

The total number of UK taxpayers indicating a non-domiciled status on their tax returns reached 114,300 in 2013/14; an increase of 3 per cent from 110,700 the year before.
