Trust Pensions launches roadshow on AE with TPR

Trust Pensions has launched a nationwide roadshows on auto-enrolment solutions presented by The Pensions Regulator, with the aim of helping small businesses and employers around the country understand their responsibilities.

Legislation introduced by the UK government requires all employers to enrol their qualifying employees in a workplace pension scheme, and this includes those who employ domestic and personal care workers.

Trust Pensions said that the seminars are aimed at business owners, employers, accountants, payroll and book keepers, alongside HR professionals and advisers in order to highlight employer obligations, contributions, key action points and deadlines.

Throughout this month, October and November the seminars will take place up and down the country.

The seminars will be held in Exeter, Plymouth, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Cardiff, Bath, Southampton, Portsmouth, Harrogate, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester and Sheffield.

Griselda Williams, head of business development at Trust Pensions, said: “Small businesses and employers have an imminent obligation to enrol their workforce into a qualifying workplace pension scheme.

“Many will not have the knowledge or the time to research and understand this new responsibility and the administrative challenges it raises. The seminars provide face-to-face time with Trust Pensions and The Pensions Regulator, helping to bring some clarity about automatic enrolment to employers across the UK.”
