Coutts global equity strategist James Butterfill has joined ETF Securities as head of research and investment strategy.
Reporting to chief executive Mark Weeks, Mr Butterfill will lead ETF Securities’ global research team and “help educate investors” on exchange-traded products and a range of asset classes, the firm said.
Mr Butterfill joins from Coutts, where he spent five years as a strategist and multi-asset manager. He previously worked at HSBC.
Mr Weeks said: “We pride ourselves on providing clients with unique market insight that helps inform their investment decisions and James will play a pivotal role in enhancing our current research offering and overall strategy.”
