Funeral firm aims for adviser expansion

Later life planning firm Golden Charter has targeted intermediary market expansion with the appointment of Mark Bell-Langford.

With a wealth of experience gained over 20 years in the financial services sector, the new senior development manager is tasked with establishing new, long-term partnerships with intermediary partners.

Prior to joining, Mr Bell-Langford spent seven years as senior regional development manager at Assurant Intermediary and has also held senior sales positions with Northern Rock and Allen & Harris.

Golden Charter currently works with a number of intermediary partners, including Axa Sun Life Direct and Scottish Friendly.

Mr Bell-Langford commented that on the back of recent growth, the firm is now able to offer other organisations the opportunity to enter a rapidly expanding marketplace.

Martin Williamson, director of intermediary sales, added: “With over 20 years’ experience and a proven track record in delivering sales results, his valued expertise will help to spearhead the growth within the intermediaries market.”
