Edmond de Rothschild hires ex-Threadneedle manager

Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management has hired ex-Threadneedle manager Agnès Belaisch as head of its sovereign debt team.

Ms Belaisch, who has been in charge of economic and market analysis at eurozone bailout fund the European Stability Mechanism (ESM) since 2012, will be based in London in her new role.

Prior to her time at the ESM, Ms Berlaisch had worked at Threadneedle, latterly as emerging market debt strategist, since 2009.

Meanwhile Edmond de Rothschild has also moved Laurent Le Grin from its Paris to its London office to head the firm’s convertible bond team, supported by new recruits Alina Epifantseva and Thibaut Bailly.

The hires follow the arrival of former Cazenove and Allianz Global Investors sales director Daniel Lee, who joined as director of sales distribution at the start of October.
