Walker Crips Investment Management’s new managed portfolio service will be available exclusively on the advised Aviva Platform.
The recently-launched Alpha: r2 is a range of five model portfolios, aligned to Wealth Management Association benchmarks, allowing them to fit into advisers’ client profiling.
Portfolio manager Gary Waite said that by working with Aviva, the firm “hopes to reach intermediaries across the advice spectrum to offer a comprehensive investment solution - with the flexibility of direct or platform access.”
Julie Green, Aviva’s head of investment propositions, commented that the five portfolios are “well-priced and offer an excellent solution” for advisers and clients alike.
Walker Crips said that so far the Income and Higher Income portfolios have outperformed the WMA Income Benchmark, returning of 0.4 per cent and 0.2 per cent respectively, net of fees.
The range is available in a various tax-efficient forms, such as Isas, offshore bonds and Sipps, as well as general investment accounts.
