Exeter acquires Engage Mutual Health

Formerly part of One Family, Engage Mutual Health’s acquisition was formerly announced on 1 November following regulatory approval in July this year (2015).

Existing policy holders with Engage Mutual Health have been informed that their premiums and policies will not change as a result of the acquisition and that The Exeter will continue to offer its One Fund corporate cash plan to help companies with employee benefits.

Chief executive Andy Chapman said: “I’m delighted that we have completed this important acquisition, increasing both the scale and breadth of our organisation.

“Not only are we confident that we will offer existing policyholders a great service experience, we also have aspirations to improve this further for individual and corporate cash plan customers old and new.”

The acquisition comes following the launch of the firm’s rebrand from Exeter Family Friendly to The Exeter on 5 October 2015 and is part of the company’s plan to expand their product range.
