TSB increases residential mortgage rates

Mortgage lender TSB has adjusted its rates for two residential mortgages available through brokers.

The firm’s five-year fixed mortgages are available to homeowners with a loan-to-value (LTV) of up to 75 per cent and will increase by 0.05 per cent.

TSB’s five-year fixed rate mortgage, with a product fee of £995, which are available to remortgagees with an LTV up to 75 per cent, will increase by 0.10 per cent.

The company is also reintroducing the five-year fixed rate no fee products in the 0 to 60 per cent and 60 to 75 per cent LTV ranges at 2.69 per cent up to 60 per cent, and at 2.84 per cent in the 60 to 75 per cent range.

Last month, TSB unveiled its lowest fixed rate mortgage since May 2015, while it also cut rates on a range of products.

The bank also refreshed its range of 10-year fixed rate mortgages last month.
