Aviva Investors’ Aylward departs

Ian Aylward has left his role as head of multi-manager research at Aviva Investors after five years at the company.

Isabel Emo Capodilista will lead the multi-manager research team on an interim basis, reporting to global head of multi-assets Peter Fitzgerald, until a permanent replacement for Mr Aylward is found.

Mr Aylward joined Aviva in 2011 from Skandia, where he was head of alternatives research.

Before Skandia, Mr Aylward worked at Rothschild Asset Management and Collins Stewart Wealth Management.

The company recently announced a reshuffle of its “liquid markets” teams - encompassing multi-assets, fixed income and equities - in response to the retirement of David Lis, its chief investment officer of multi-asset and equities.
