Exchange-traded fund (ETF) provider Invesco PowerShares has hired from passives rival Vanguard to boost its capital markets team.
It has appointed Jim Goldie as head of ETF capital markets, Emea. He formerly worked as an ETF and capital markets specialist for Vanguard.
Mr Goldie will be responsible for managing the Invesco PowerShares Emea capital markets team, while maintaining relationships with market makers and stock exchanges in the region.
Before Vanguard, he worked for Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley.
In another move, Invesco PowerShares has appointed Michael Delew, who has been working for the company in the US , to the position of ETF capital markets research analyst.
