Ride London gains traction

Get ready to don your Lycra. Approximately 100,000 cyclists are set to take over the streets of London and Surrey for Prudential’s Ride London in July.

The weekend, which is now in its fourth year, will feature several races and family events.

The main event will be a 100-mile endurance challenge on the Sunday. More than 27,000 amateur cyclists will race from the Olympic Park to Surrey, tackling climbs at Box Hill and Leith Hill, and finishing on The Mall before the professionals tear down a similar route later that day.
