Protection specialist Vita enters cyberspace

Cardiff-based protection specialist Vita has launched a new consumer facing website, as part of its rebrand announced earlier this year.

The firm, which revealed its expansion plans after picking up the Special Recognition accolade at the Legal & General Business Quality Awards in February, says the website is being launched ahead of schedule.

Barry Pappin, director, said the firm’s choice of style for the site represents its aim to do things differently.

“Users will notice we’ve gone for an illustration-based concept to create a unique, warm and emotive set of visuals, as opposed to frequently used stock photos or images,” he said.

“We operate such a quality-based model, so wanted to make sure that the feel of the website stands out from the crowd.”

Pappin, who founded the firm six years ago with Paul Reed, said he didn’t want to produce a “pretty but unengaging website”.

He added: “When creating a call to action for customers it’s important that they feel engaged with the content, are able to interact with the site and be suitably educated in order to make informed decisions.”

The company rebrand will see Vita develop a processing platform, a bespoke customer relationship management system, which fellow director Paul Reed claimed would help it deliver to clients in a more sophisticated and efficient way.
