The IFA owned and controlled wrap proposition has appointed Alison Hewison as business analyst and Nichola Burns as events manager.

Hewison has been appointed to the newly created position of business analyst and will report directly to chief technology officer, Andrew Smith, who joined Nucleus in July of this year.

She previously worked for the student loans company and brings with her a wealth of technical service delivery experience.

In her new role, Hewison will be responsible for ensuring the high levels of process analysis are maintained across the business. Central to this will be her role as a contact point between Nucleus and its administrator, Scottish Friendly.

Nichola Burns has been promoted to events manager and will assist Communications Director, Rebecca Christensen, with the delivery of the marketing strategy for the business.

The events manager role has been created to support the business development plans and to ensure Nucleus events such as the quarterly user sessions for para planners and strategy sessions for member IFAs are progressed in line with adviser's expectations.

David Ferguson, chief executive of Nucleus, said: "With over 300 advisers already using the platform, these appointments come at an exciting stage in Nucleus' development for future growth.

"They will be instrumental in delivering a seamless process for our existing member advisers and central to our business development strategy as we look to attract more in the future."
