Webber will report into Howard Meaney, head of property investment, and Charles Maxlow Tomlinson, principal fund manager at LVAM.

Webber joins from Cushman & Wakefield, where he worked in the capital markets and development teams, as well as for Cushman & Wakefield Investors, where he was responsible for direct and indirect acquisitions for a range of pension funds and charitable foundations.

Webber is also a qualified chartered surveyor with around four years of property experience across the investment, development and occupier sectors.

He will be working primarily on the Teesside Pension Fund mandate that was won by LVAM with effect from 1 April this year, and will also be involved in the management and expansion of the LV= UK property fund.

Tomlinson said: "We are pleased to welcome Henry to our team as we continue to expand our assets under management through new mandates and new investment.

"Having known him for a while, I am confident that Henry’s experience and expertise will help us to continue to deliver excellent long term performance".

Webber added that he looked forward to working on the management of the various portfolios "as well as new strategic transactions that will deliver strong investment returns".
