Citi Quilter strengthens research capabilities

Citi Quilter, a wealth management firm for private clients, has appointed Chris Beckett as head of research and senior vice president in its London office.

Beckett will report to Duncan Gwyther, chief investment officer, and head a growing team of analysts providing research expertise to more than 80 investment managers at the firm.

Beckett has more than 10 years’ investment experience and joins from CCLA Investment Management where he was a fund manager.

Gwyther said: "We are delighted to welcome Chris to the firm. He has many years of experience in research and his knowledge of the markets will play an important role as we seek to drive our research approach into new areas."

Beckett added: "The firm's comprehensive investment process coupled with a strong research capability is a very attractive proposition. I look forward to using my expertise to enhance the firm’s research offering."
