An introductory course focusing on employee share plans for financial advisers is being headed by ifs ProShare.

The two-and-a-half hour course, which includes ifs School of Finance continuous personal development credits, will give advisers an understanding of the most common employee share plans.

This will include information on the types of plan available together with an overview of the taxation implications.

In addition, the course will look at the tax advantages available to employees on maturity of some employee share plans.
