Zurich announces drive to hire 60 consultants

Hires are on top of 26 appointments made since April

Zurich's UK Life business is to embark on a new drive to recruit 60 sales consultants.

In April, the business announced its intention to recruit 30 sales consultants to help support the business in achieving its growth plans.

Of this, 26 positions have already been filled; and the business is now set to attract an additional 60 consultants with a mix of pensions, investment and protection experience.

Tony Solomon, business development director for Zurich UK, said: "We have made a significant investment in our new generation of pensions, protection and investment propositions and have built world class e-capability.

"To achieve our growth targets we must continue to develop the skills of our existing sales consultants and to attract more highly talented people to join our business."
