SimplyBiz and APS Legal & Associates have teamed up to offer SimplyBiz members firms an exclusive professional will writing & estate planning legal service.

The initiative, SimplyBiz Legal Services, has been designed to make will writing and estate planning simple, cost effective and profitable for business.

The initiative will allow SimplyBiz members to refer clients for a professional service and reciprocating commission.

Additionally, the service offers the alternative option to diversify the business and train as a legal consultant at the Centre of Excellence Legal Department.

This course has been exclusively designed for SimplyBiz members.

Ian Thorneycroft, managing director of SimplyBiz, said: "Under treating customers fairly there will be greater emphasis on IFAs taking an active role in ensuring an up to date will is kept. Therefore, this initiative will be of great interest to advisers looking to provide the best service to their clients.

"As IFAs look for longer-term relationships with fewer clients, particularly in the wealth management area, they will need to be at the centre of their client's plans and we have looked into this accordingly."

Launched in 2002, the Simply Biz Group provide compliance and other business support services to over 2000 financial services firms and 5000 individual advisers nationwide.
