Increased levels of debt in Wales and reduced levels of disposable income has seen a high level of interest in Eurodebt's Introducer Scheme from mortgage brokers and IFAs in the principality.

EuroDebt’s recent roadshow in Swansea was over-subscribed by 20 per cent reflecting the growing need for alternative revenue opportunities by brokers.

Kevin Still, director for Eurodebt, said: "More than 50 brokers attended our recent roadshow in Swansea, representing a wide spectrum of the Welsh financial services market including packagers, networks, solicitors, insolvency practitioners, accountants and estate agents.

"With a number of our Wales-based introducers already reaping the benefits of the Eurodebt Introducer scheme, we received a hugely positive response with sign ups on the day exceeding the 70 per cent we have experienced in the 5 other events we have recently run in the South of England."
