FundZone, which has had more than 250 funds added since it launched in February 2007, has recently added 11 new funds to its range.

Mark Polson, head of communication for Standard Life Savings, said: “We are pleased to be able to extend the range of funds available and believe Fund-

Zone provides great choice and value for advisers and their clients.

“When taking into account the accumulation and income options, it brings the total to more than 1400 different fund choices from 65 fund managers.

“By offering such an extensive range of leading funds through a single platform, advisers can realise significant business efficiencies and clients don’t need to be out of the market as conditions change.

“Our open stance on re-registration also gives advisers the reassurance we have no artificial barriers in transferring on or off the platform in specie.”

Advisers can now gain access through Standard Life’s retail and group Sipps with flexible remuneration options and there are also large fund discounts.

Under the Standard Life Gift plan, FundZone funds are now available under trust, allowing for a more dynamic approach to inheritance tax planning.

Clients can also receive consolidated statements to view their overall financial position.
