Advisers will have exclusive access to two Eclectica funds until the end February through Skandia.

The Eclectica Agriculture and Eclectica Continental European funds will be available through Skandia's Selestia Investment Solutions platform and its life and pensions fund ranges.

This is the first time Skandia customers will have access to funds from the Eclectica range. The addition of Eclectica takes the number of funds available through the Selestia Investment Solutions platform to about 900 from more than 60 fund groups and the number of funds available through Skandia's life and pensions fund range to about 480 from nearly 50 fund groups.

Graham Bentley, head of investment marketing for Skandia, said: "We constantly look to enhance our various ranges so they provide advisers and their clients with a suitable amount of investment options to meet their individual investment objectives."

The Agriculture fund aims to achieve long-term capital growth through investment in a diversified portfolio of global quoted equity investments that are involved in, concerned with or affected by agriculture and farming-related issues according to Eclectica.

The Continental European fund invests in a diversified portfolio of quoted equity investments, principally in companies incorporated in any European country or in companies that have a significant proportion of their assets or interests in continental Europe, the asset managers added.

James DuBoulay, head of sales and marketing for Eclectica, said: "Our agreement with Skandia is an important step in the broadening out of our business."
