Getting your hands dirty is nothing new to Norwich and Peterborough Building Society's chief executive.
Insider has dug up the dirt to find out that Matthew Bullock rolled up his sleeves and swapped his business suit for gardening gloves to help N&P's staff charity East Anglia's Children's Hospices at the Milton hospice in Cambridge.
Together with eight other members of staff, Mr Bullock got out his trowel to tidy the gardens of the Milton hospice for its Memory Day service as part of its volunteer programme.
N&P adopted East Anglia's Children's Hospices as its staff charity in May 2007 and has so far raised over £60,000 for the cause.
