The group has hired John Braybrook as business development manager for Wales and the south west of England, while Ian Beardow has been appointed as training and relationship manager for the south east.

In his new role Mr Braybrook will act as support for IFAs and will work closely alongside Nick Jones, head of sales, to help develop new business. He will be the initial contact for IFAs in that region.

Meanwhile Mr Beardow will develop the south east business further, and support the transition of IFA assets on to the platform. He will also provide any training and give ongoing assistance to existing IFA users of the Ascentric Wrap.

Michael Fordham, business development director of Ascentric, said: "In addition to Mr Braybrook and Mr Beardow, we are in the process of recruiting more business development managers to cover Scotland, East Anglia and the Midlands, as well as training and relationship managers for London and the M25, Northern England and Scotland.

"Our aim is to ensure we continue to support IFAs across the whole of the UK. These and future appointments really underline this strategic commitment."
