New Star boosts Indian Equity fund

New Star has made its recently launched Indian Equity fund available on the Cofunds, Funds Direct, Hargreaves Lansdown, Royal Skandia, Skandia and Transact platforms.

The launch of an Indian equity fund is another addition to New Star's existing emerging market product range. Richard Wilson, marketing director at New Star, said: "We have seen strong demand for the New Star Indian Equity fund and look forward to working closely with the platforms to ensure access to India's exceptional growth potential is widely available."
