Barclays Wealth launches new issue of Commodity Select protected investment

Barclays Wealth launched a new issue of its Commodity Select protected investment, which offers access to a range of commodities, supported by full capital protection.

The third issue provides exposure to the four sub-asset classes of energy, agriculture, base and precious metals. It also provides access to corn, wheat and soybeans. Available from 1 October to 28 November, the issue represents a five-year investment. Colin Dickie, director at Barclays Wealth, said: “Developing economies continue to increase demand for commodities, but supply, particularly for energy products, is restricted in some areas.”
