Merrill Lynch appoints Smilg as products and wealth chief

Merrill Lynch has appointed Jeremy Smilg to the newly created position of head of products and wealth solutions for its EMEA Wealth Management group.

In his new role, he will develop a co-ordinated strategy across the department, including market investments and originations, wealth structuring and discretionary management.

Mr Smilg will have a number of people will be reporting to him, including Andrew Clark, head of discretionary management, Trang Chu, head of market investments and origination, and Rob MacIntyre, head of wealth structuring.
