RLAM rebrands UK Strategic Growth trust

Royal London Asset Management (RLAM) has rebranded its UK Strategic Growth trust to UK Mid-Cap Growth to reflect its concentration on the FTSE Mid 250 (ex-IT) index.

Managed since launch by Leigh Himsworth, the fund has just passed its third anniversary, outperforming its benchmark and its peer group over one and three years.

Royal London described Himsworth as a value manager who focuses on re-rating opportunities and cash flow, among other characteristics.

During the financial crisis, Himsworth has also held certain positions for shorter periods to profit from volatile upswings.
