Barclays Wealth launches pair of Defined Returns plans

Barclays Wealth has launched two new Defined Returns plans, available from 1 October.

The Capital Protection and Annual Kick-Out plans offer fixed returns over a number of investment periods for minimal gain in the FTSE100 index. Investors in the Annual Kick-Out can receive a “competitive” fixed return, plus their original capital, after only one year should the index match or exceed its starting point at the plan’s first anniversary. The Capital Protection offers three options, delivering a fixed return of 20, 30 or 40 per cent, depending on the terms.
