The new product is now available on 3XD's online quotation system and follows the recent launch of its buildings and contents schemes for homeowners.

The product is exclusively underwritten by Groupama Insurance Company, one of the three panel members that also underwrites the homeowner scheme.

The landlord policy features intermediary commission of 30 per cent of the paid premium with no administration fees to reduce the level of commission paid.

Commission is subject to 3XD's legally binding commission guarantee ensuring intermediaries will receive their full entitlement to commission for the life of the policy.

David Fulluck, managing director of 3XD, said: "We are delighted we have been able to strengthen our existing arrangements with Groupama by introducing this valuable product to the intermediary market.

"This product is ideally suited to buy-to-let landlords and offers the long term security we guarantee our intermediaries."

3XD launched in October 2007 offering advisers' a range of general insurance including mortgage payment protection insurance.

In April the provider introduced new electronic reporting designed to assist intermediaries both with new business administration and tracking key events for existing customers.
