Evaluate is focused on the market for sourcing and applying for non-conforming mortgages.

Paul Fradgley, chief executive of Evaluate Technologies, said: "Sourcing system development is a challenging arena but we firmly believe the efficiency and accuracy of our system is unparalleled in the specialist market.

"The aim of the Evaluate proposition is to enable advisers to concentrate on the sales and advice process by offering the tools and 100 per cent trust in the accuracy and efficiency of these tools, to provide access to a complete cost effective solution and a clear, simple to compare online matrix system that is permanently up-to-date.

"With compliance and back office systems taken care of in one whole package Evaluate believes this will free up valuable time for advisers to concentrate solely on the sales and advice process and generating new business."

Plus points... The system should be praised for being very accurate but it was the fact the system detailed exactly what sort of documentation was needed for each specific case early on, making things smoother for all concerned in a chaotic market, that proved most popular with advisers.

Could do better... There are many sourcing systems out there in the market, which Evaluate will have to compete against.

Adviser says...

Ray Boulger, senior technical manager of London-based intermediary John Charcol, said: "Our advisers need speed and certainty to help them provide the best advice to our clients and Evaluate offers both.

"The most important feature of a sourcing system is its accuracy and we were particularly impressed that Evaluate delivered 100 per cent accuracy throughout the trial. We also liked the fact it presents a detailed shopping list that is specific to the enquiry for each lender."
