Thinc acquires Chambers Morgan James and Cavendish Financial Management

The two wealth management businesses in Wales bring 900 clients to the Thinc Group enhancing its position and collective funds under administration of more than £120 million.

Principals Julie Lord of Cavendish and Marlene Shalton of CMJ are both directors of the Institute of Financial Planning and Certified Financial Planners.

John Simmonds, chief executive of Thinc, said: "This is a significant announcement for Thinc. Both firms have a strong reputation within the professional Financial Planning and Wealth Management community and bringing the two companies into Thinc increases our sphere of influence in this important area of the market.’
