Sesame Bankhall Group has announced the hire of Pan Andreas to head up its wealth management team, as part of the group’s investments in new adviser services.

Recently the group adopted a new attitude to risk and portfolio analysis tool, a new client and practice management system that is currently being developed with IRESS and Optimum Investment Management, a new investment tool produced with with Henderson Global Investors.

Sesame said that Mr Andreas will help to promote and deliver these new initiatives into the market and link the group’s investment platform strategy and new restricted advice service.

Mr Andreas has worked in the industry for 30 years. Prior to joining Sesame he worked as a consultant on platform adoption at Axa Wealth and has also previously worked at Intrinsic Financial Services as a sales manager for asset management.

Sesame CEO George Higginson, said: “Mr Andreas has a good understanding of how to build and manage a strong team. His insight into financial services business will help us ensure that our group and our customers gain the maximum benefit from these four separate yet complementary developments.”

Mr Andreas said he has long been “impressed” by the scale and capital strength of Sesame Bankhall Group and that he wants to help the firm deliver a wealth management proposition that is “easy for advisers to articulate and deliver.”
