Barclays Wealth hires PwC’s Paul Fleming

Barclays Wealth has appointed Paul Fleming as director and head of strategic partnerships, where he will be tasked with boosting the firm’s relationships with key introducers.

Mr Fleming’s role will be to develop the firm’s relationships with introducers including lawyers and accountants, working across the UK and Ireland Private Bank, International Private Bank and Wealth Advisory business units.

Mr Fleming joins the global wealth manager after eight years at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he was most recently was head of strategic partnerships, following a period as head of marketing strategy and business development.

Barclays Wealth head of business development Graham Nicoll said: “We enjoy strong relationships with lawyers, accountants and other professional firms globally and there are many areas in which we can work together for the benefit of our clients.

“Paul has been brought on board to ensure that we are exploring these opportunities to the full and working as closely as we can with our clients’ professional advisers.”
