Quilter opens Wales office

Quilter has opened a new office in Llandudno Junction, North Wales.

Previously the company served that region from its Liverpool office.

Richard Thorn, who will run the new office, said: “North Wales is an important region for us and it makes sense to have an office there.

“We will be nearer to our clients and, with volatitility in the markets set to continue in the forseeable future, we are sure they will find our local presence reassuring.”

Colin Wickens and Matthew Gilman, who joined the Liverpool office as investment managers in January 2011, will now be based in the North Wales office together with consultant Philip Brown.

The company has also recently increased the investment teams at its Dublin and Jersey offices.
