Glyn Jones has stepped down as chairman of the board for wealth management company Towry.

He will be replaced by Gerald Corbett, who joined the board as a non-executive last year, with immediate effect.

Mr Jones said: “Towry will shortly announce its fifth set of results under my chairmanship. Over that time, Towry has grown significantly.

“I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Towry but, after five and a half years, I have decided that this is an appropriate time to move on.”

According to Towry CEO Andrew Fisher, Mr Jones will continue to be a client of the firm and will also retain a significant shareholding of Towry.
