National IFA firm and consolidator Perspective Financial Group has completed its second advisory firm acquisition of 2012 and purchased advisory practice Financial Connection, adding £27m in assets under management.

As part of the deal, the Surrey-based firm will change its name to Financial Connection Wealth Management. Current manager Jackie Lee-Lis, the firm’s only registered person, will continue to lead the company after its acquisition by Perspective.

Perspective Financial Group employs more than 220 people, manages £2bn of assets and has an annual turnover of more than £23m.

In January 2012, Perspective acquired Gateshead-based advisory firm Vivienne Shepherd.

Damian Keeling, managing director of Perspective Financial, said: “We continue to grow and develop through acquisition as well as by supporting our existing offices with all their business needs and ambitions.

“We fully expect to make more additions to the Perspective Group throughout 2012 and have a strong pipeline to achieve this.”
