There are four advisers and eight members of staff in non-advisory roles in Towry’s Norwich office, which is set to be closed.

A spokesman for Towry said: “We believe that Cambridge is a better base from which to service our clients and develop our business further in this region.

“We have written to all clients informing them of the review and will write again once our employee consultations are completed in early May.

“Whatever happens, we are fully committed to retaining a strong presence in East Anglia and all clients will continue to receive a high quality of service from us.”

Towry also revealed it is currently considering consolidating its Londonderry and Belfast offices into one office in Belfast.

There is one adviser working out of Towry’s Londonderry branch, supported by six non-advisory roles.

A spokesman for Towry said: “We believe it will be more efficient to grow our business from Belfast.

“Our consultation with employees will be completed in early May.

“Whatever happens, we are fully committed to retaining a strong presence in Northern Ireland and all clients will continue to receive a high quality of service from us.”
