RLAM adds to BDM force

Royal London Asset Management has appointed Ian Furtado as business development manager with immediate effect.

He will report to Ian Goulsbra, head of wholesale relationships, and will be responsible for promoting RLAM’s fund range to key wholesale clients in London, the Midlands and the Channel Islands.

RLAM’s wholesale clients include discretionary managers, stockbrokers, private banks, funds of funds and multi-managers.

Mr Furtado previously worked at Occam Asset Management and then Liontrust Asset Management, subsequent to its acquisition of Occam, where he was responsible for raising assets and client servicing in London and across the UK.

Mr Goulsbra said: “Ian has considerable experience of the wholesale market and a proven track record of raising assets across a range of products, and I’m very pleased that he is joining RLAM.

“RLAM has built a strong reputation for excellent investment performance and high quality relationships and Ian’s appointment will help us continue to promote our fund range and further develop these relationships with key fund selectors.”
