Church House appoints new client director

Independent portfolio manager and wealth manager Church House Investment Management has appointed James MacDonald-Smith as client director.

A chartered fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, Mr MacDonald-Smith joins the firm from Lloyds Private Banking, where he helped set up a team looking after Lloyds’ ultra-high net worth clients.

Prior to his tenure at Lloyds he was a director at Barclays Wealth for fourteen years, where he chaired the investment committee and weekly meeting for the ultra-high net worth and high net worth private bankers.

At Church House, Mr MacDonald-Smith will be responsible for certain relationships with family groups, individuals, trusts and charitable foundations.
