Sanlam Private Investments UK expands business team


    Sanlam Private Investments UK has appointed Bruce Ely-Johnston as head of business development with effect from today (13 November).

    He will be responsible for seeking new business opportunities and achieving new business targets by promoting Sanlam Private Investments products and services to potential significant introducers and looking to expand our footprint.

    Mr Ely-Johnston will also be responsible for the strategic positioning and direction of the sales effort within SPI.

    Prior to joining SPI, Mr Ely-Johnston spent four years as head of advisor solutions at London & Capital Asset Management.

    Craig Massey, chief executive of SPI, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have someone of Bruce’s calibre on board. He is a talented and driven professional with proven leadership skills and, in particular, with all the right credentials to spearhead our business development.

    “The recruitment of talented investment professionals and leaders is a core part of our ethos at SPI and has been one of the key drivers for SPI’s growth internationally.”
