LifeSearch and Which? in protection tie-up

In a statement from the independent watchdog, it said mortgage was one of the most important financial commitments a person could make – and therefore it was essential to make sure their ability to repay was backed up by good insurance.

Under the terms of the tie-up, Which? Mortgage Advisers will be referring its customers to the London-based LifeSearch to offer free and independent information about their protection needs.

Tom Baigrie, chief executive of LifeSearch, said: “Protection is a specialist area and it makes sense to team up with a company such as ours, which can offer both scale and quality of advice.”


- LifeSearch was founded in 1998 by Mr Baigrie and Arthur Davies.

- It acts as an appointed representative of advisory firm Baigrie Davies.

- To date, LifeSearch has arranged more than £13bn of cover, according to its latest accounts.

- The company employs more than 200 people, of which approximately 100 are qualified advisers.
