Are providers providing?

Asked to rate the quality of information by providers, almost half advisers (48 per cent) said it was ‘good’. Only 3 per cent said it was ‘very good’ and 4 per cent said it was ‘poor’.

Chris Daems, director of London-based IFA Principal Financial Solution, said: “While the information from providers may be informative and valuable I feel that care and attention needs to be paid by advisers and that they ensure that they conduct their own independent analysis to confirm the appropriateness of the particular multi-asset fund.”
