She added that the purpose of the Bill was to “reform care and support funding by creating a cap on care costs, extend the means-test threshold for financial assistance and ensure no one has to sell their home in their lifetime to pay for residential care.
“It will help people better understand what care and support is on offer, help them plan for the future and ensure they know where to go for help when they need it.”
