Posting on LifeTalk, the social network for IFAs, financial planner Mr Johnston said he was “hoping to establish a link or links with firms” to outsource long-term care advice, as well as occupational pension transfers.

Mr Johnston added: “We do not do large volumes but if you are interested, please get in touch.”

DJH specialises in advice for both small and large businesses throughout Staffordshire and Shropshire, though it also takes on private clients. The firm’s team includes accountants as well as financial planners and business advisers.

The firm is also in the process of launching a yet to be unveiled website, http://www.djhwealth.co.uk/

Tish Hanifan, joint chairman of the Society of Later Life Advisers, said: “We are seeing an increasing number of members getting referrals within the sector. Firms are deciding that all-round later life advice is quite complex and involves a lot of holistic planning. Some of them will carve out specific areas of advice to be outsourced, such as equity release.”
