Saunderson House gains 43 clients in three months

Saunderson House, the fee-based financial advice arm of IFG Group, has won 43 new clients in the first quarter of 2013.

This represents a slight increase to the company’s client bank and brings its total client numbers to 1,332.

In its interim management statement, IFG said its advice arm had earned increased revenue and operating profit compared to the same period last year.

IFG’s pensions administration arm James Hay Partnership reported continuing growth in its Self-invested personal pensions business corresponding with its goals of 250 new Sipps each month.

At the end of March 2013, James Hay Partnership had 37,848 Sipps under administration compared to 37,342 at the end of December 2012.

Sales of 1,260 new Sipps in the quarter represent a 125 per cent increase year-on-year and a 48 per cent increase on the previous quarter.
