Brooks Macdonald expands international business

Brooks Macdonald International (BMI) has announced the formation of a new business development team in Jersey.

Richard Hughes has been hired as head of business development and Chris Donoghue as senior business development manager.

Mr Hughes joins from global financial services firm Vistra, where he worked as business development director for three years, having previously worked at BNP Paribas in a similar capacity.

He is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, and the Institute of Directors.

Mr Donoghue has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, having held a number of different roles including stockbroking, portfolio management, and managing a private banking investment team.

He joins Brooks Macdonald from HSBC Private Bank, where he was head of investment group, Jersey.

Mr Donoghue is a Chartered fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and a holder of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners Diploma in International Trust Management.
