Exeter rolls out adviser marketing tool kit

Specialist insurer Exeter Family Friendly has launched a marketing tool kit to help advisers increase their sales of income protection.

The Exeter-based mutual has launched the free tool, available to all advisers, to help grow interest and adviser confidence in this crucial product.

Mike O’Brien, head of sales and marketing, said: “We know our products offer advisers quality cover for all of their clients, but our commitment to the market runs deeper than that. We want to help advisers improve their skills and techniques to engage consumers and wake them up to income protection.”

Exeter Family has been running a programme of seminars helping advisers for five years.

Mr O’Brien added: “Our seminars are more popular than ever, proving the high level of demand from advisers for useful, innovative support from insurers. Our new tool kit, named the Protection Path, is simply the next step; a wealth of concepts, ideas and statistics, advisers can download and use in their businesses in any way they choose.”

The adviser hub is separated into a simplified sales journey, to help advisers throughout the advice process with clients.

He said: “Being successful is about more than just attracting the interest of your clients. You have to be able to convert that interest into a commitment; that’s why we have developed a library of useful information, statistics and tips to help manage the process.”
